Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, committee responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.
Chair of Governor’s Statement
It is a privilege to support and be part of Cropthorne with Charlton First School. It is a wonderful school and each time I visit I am delighted by the dedication of all of those who work and learn as part of the school community, the vibrancy of the displays and the enthusiasm and excited buzz, which is evident throughout the school.
As a Governing body, it is our responsibility to enable the school and each child to achieve their best and experience a wide range of opportunities to learn and grow. We do this by evaluating the policy and direction of the school, regularly observing practice and the children’s achievements, reviewing policy and meeting with members of staff.
Although we are all volunteers, we are committed to ensuring that the school meets its objectives and remains the wonderful place that it is for the future of each child who lives and learns in our community.
Please feel free to get in touch with me either through the school office or at local events, if you would like to discuss any feature of our school or are willing to help and support us in any way.
Mrs Hilary Harris
Chair of Governors
Cropthorne with Charlton C of E First School
